But it could be a problem?
A little background history:
I just recently moved back to small Norway from living in the USA for 21 years. I have become quite experienced in reuse and finding free things, as a matter of fact it drives me. I have though become used to bigger things, and finding what your looking for is NEVER impossible. I am used to people making it easy for you, by putting things they dont want on their curb outside their homes, for people to take. Its fun. You never know what you'll find driving your kids to school. Or the give aways on Craigslist (an online website much like finn.no), or becoming a member at your online freecycle site. I have given away lots of unwanted things, and picked up quite a few as well. When I came to Norway, i discovered it wasnt quite as big of a market here as in the US. Dissappointing! I will say though, I have managed to find a few places here as well, but not half as much opportunities. I find myself constantly googling used stores in our local areas, who's having auctioning, when is the next fleamarket etc etc. Found out that in Norway fleamarkets are dead in the winter, so It seems it only happens when the snow dissappears. Cant wait for that!!! I am going crazy around here. We do have a big recycle place only about 10 min away, and they have 2 large containers with give aways. What a treat! They got everything from books, clothes, glassware, furniture etc etc. I love pulling up there and seeing its full of things.
The funniest thing about this whole thing , is that my car(Ford Fiesta) is the tiniest car in the world. I still manage to fit most of the things I want to bring home into it, hehe. It may take me a little while, but you get the idea. I am determined when it comes to my treasures. I actually fit two of the large sitting chairs in pic below, I couldnt leave without them.
Here are some of those beautiful things I'v found there.
I am planning on re-doing some of the furniture pieces I have found, so look for new updated pics in later post.
